Amanuel Ghebremichael (Manny)

A Freelance Graphic Designer by trade but a Fine Artist at heart Amanuel Ghebremichael has been sketching, painting, and sculpting for as far back as he can remember.  Born in Florence, Italy and of Eritrean heritage he has strived to feed his hunger for knowledge and creativity.  Earning a degree in Fine Art & Graphic Design from West Chester University he has accomplished a wide gamut of works from designing and illustrating children's books to producing magazine advertisements.  His passion for meeting new artists and discovering techniques has kept him inspired since his adolescence.  At around 7 years old Amanuel's mother took he and his younger brother to church for a Sunday morning service.  Upon entering the church he looked around and realized he was surrounded by beautiful Biblical paintings.  As the church service moved along he slowly studied and deciphered each and marveled at the paintings that towered over him.  Amanuel gazed through the theological stained glass records that were carefully placed in the sun’s path to shine down on the worshipers and realized at that moment he fell in love with art.  Amanuel believes that Art and Design are all around you; all you have to do is open your eyes and look around.
